A new mix!
I’m sure everyone has their own version of this mix in their own head, but I’ve been meaning to put mine together for a while. Think of this as nine eight couplets. The first of the couplets being the original, and the second being the one that lifts a bass line, melody, intro, etc. in a way that seems beyond just mere influence.

Goodbye, couch.
This is “my” couch. It came to me 3 years ago when my friend Dale moved out of a house and could not fit it in her new apartment. The couch belonged to a friend of Dale’s who had moved away and left it behind. When I inherited the couch I was warned that this person may one day come back for it. That day has unexpectedly come and I am quite sad and depressed about it.
